Camping in France
Camp sites provide the cheapest way to holiday in France and can be very comfortable with excellent facilities.  You can book your French camp site through a travel company or deal direct with the camp site.  We list our favourites here . Camping is great if you are looking for entertainment, both during the day and in the evenings.  On the other hand you may not have a great deal of privacy and may be disturbed by noise from other campers.  If you have your own tent, trailer tent or caravan then there is a massive range of camping sites to choose from.  If not, don't despair, many travel companies provide mobile homes or pre-assembled tents.  

Saving Money: Out of season you can get incredibly good value through travel companies.  In season you may get a better deal by dealing direct with the campsite.  Although the bigger travel operators have their own tents/mobile homes, often the site owners have their own accommodation to rent as well.
